Creating a device mounted to the train floor that collects vibration data. Obtained data is extracted and analyzed to isolate patterns caused by the train passing over the joints.
EcoBeach - Semester Project in Scalability
EcoBeach processes satellite imagery in real-time to monitor rising shorelines due to climate change. It provides historical and current data on shoreline changes for the public and private sectors to build solutions preemptively.
HexUML - Development of a code-generation tool for simulations
A code generation tool that can convert UML diagrams into code for various programming languages. It features a CLI, web interface, and CI actions for ease of use. An optimized template engine was developed for this project.

Full-stack Developer
I designed and maintained a platform for delivering and evaluating programming assignments for software engineering students. The platform required me to exercise judgment in selecting the most appropriate components to establish a robust and flexible foundation that could adapt to the changing demands of each semester.

As an instructor, I have been fortunate to receive positive feedback from my students while teaching a variety of courses, including Object-oriented programming, Advanced Object-oriented programming, Web Technologies, and Model-Driven Development. As an instructor Niels manages to answer any question while also providing a comprehensible explanation that simplifies the issue. As an instructor, I'm yet to meet a person who can break down a problem and explain its entirety in so few simple words. It truly shows a greater understanding of the matter. I've worked closely with internal clients to design and implement solutions that met their needs, with a focus on applications that both streamlined interdepartmental communications and tasks for faculties. The majority of my work has been done in C#, PHP, and SQL, encompassing a range of databases including Oracle, SQL Server, and MySQL.

I promoted awareness and fostered connections as a liaison on campus. I proudly represented Microsoft at a series of events, including Code Night with Coding Pirates, which aimed to inspire children to explore coding. Additionally, I was honored to represent the Danish student partners at the MSP EU summit in Barcelona during TechEd 2015, where I participated in efforts to enhance the program and support other students.
